BDA accepts one of two payment plans; monthly or semester. Monthly payments will be due the first week of each month; Semester payments will be due September 15, 2017 and January 19, 2018. Late payment will result in a $20 late fee. Student will not be admitted to class if tuition is not current. Currently BDA accepts cash or check as payment.
If a student chooses to discontinue their schedule of classes, BDA must be notified via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) 30 days prior to the first class of any month. Any unused tuition amount is forfeited. In the case of long-term illness or serious injury a 30-day notice will not be required. A physician’s note must be submitted to the studio for such consideration.
BDA will not prorate monthly tuition. Students adding mid-month may either pay the drop-in rate of $20 per class or schedule a make-up class.
It is your responsibility to attend the class you are registered. Please email the studio if your child is unable to attend his or her scheduled class. Refunds are not given for missed classes, however as a courtesy, students may schedule a make-up class. BDA will allow 1 make up class per month. Make-up classes must be scheduled & attended within one month of absence. Please contact the studio to schedule the make-up class.

BDA will be closed for regular scheduled classes the following days:
Auditions for Dance Excellence 2020 will be held January 2019. Auditions are open to dancers born on or before March 1, 2011. Please see Cassie for more information.
1 hr: $55 based on instructor and studio availability. Payment must be pre-paid and made at time of scheduling. All private lessons need to be scheduled through Cassie via email email@example.com. In case of cancellation, ½ of the private lesson fee will be forfeited.
Teacher recommendations for class placement are based on the student’s attitude, understanding and application of technique and physical ability. Teachers may request new students take a “test” class prior to placing for registration. Advancement is based on teacher recommendations only after the student masters his or her current level. We take great care in considering each and every student for placement in a level which is compatible with his or her current ability and encourages them in progress.
Inappropriate placement in an advanced level may result in injury and hinders the progress of classmates. We appreciate your understanding of this policy which permits us to give your child the individual attention her or she deserves.
Lockers are available for students taking multiple classes. If you would like a locker, please see the office. Students using a lock must provide BDA with the combination.
Photos (still or moving) may be taken of you or your child and may be released to media (Advertising, newspapers, TV, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) You authorize the release of all media of you or your child along with name to media services. All participants and their guardians will waive all claims against BDA with respect to copyright ownership and publication including any claim for compensation for such use of the materials. You and your participating dependent/s waive any right to approve the finished product.
