BDA Company Team
The BDA Company is more than just a competitive dance team — it's a community where passion, discipline, and camaraderie come together to create something truly special. Designed for dancers who are committed to growth both on and off the stage, the Company provides a dynamic environment that nurtures technical excellence, creative expression, and personal development.
Open to Bozeman Dance Academy dancers, the Company offers a supportive space where dancers build lifelong friendships, learn the value of teamwork, and grow under the guidance of experienced teachers and coaches. Dancers are selected to compete group pieces in a variety of styles, including lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tap and contemporary, by age group and ability. Through national competitions, intensive rehearsals, and team-building experiences, members not only become stronger performers but also confident leaders.
The BDA Company experience is about more than awards — it's about building character, community, and unforgettable memories that last a lifetime.

Crucial information including required classes and rehearsal commitments, financial expectations, competition schedule, team policies, and what it means to be part of the BDA Company community. AUDITION READINESS WORKSHOP
Monday June 1, 2026
Dancers 6-9 yrs old | 4:15-5:30
Dancers 10-13 yrs old | 5:30-7:30
Dancers 14+ | 5:30-8pm
Registration required.
This workshop is designed to build confidence and sharpen your skills before auditions. -
MANDATORY AUDITIONS
Tuesday, June 2 5:30-7:00 pm for dancers that will be in High School 2026/2027
Wednesday, June 3 5:30-7:00 pm for dancers that will be in Elementary or Middle School 2026/2027
Audition is required for all dancers, new and returning, who wish to be considered for the 2026–2027 BDA Company team.
Dancers auditioning for Company will be required to complete the Audition Form.

BDA Company dancers:
Need to be at least 7 years old
Take a minimum of 4 hours of technique classes per week, including ballet
Possess solid technical skills across multiple dance styles
Are physically strong, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude
Demonstrate impeccable attendance in all classes, rehearsals, and Company events
Are truly committed to improving their technique, performance, and teamwork
Dancers are selected and placed on teams based on age and ability, and compete in a variety of styles including lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tap, and contemporary.
BDA company - Home Team
This program is perfect for dancers who are curious about the competitive experience and want additional performance opportunities—without the full commitment of Company.
What makes Home Team a great fit?
A lower time, travel, and financial commitment than full Company
Opportunity to compete at 1–2 local events (Bozeman/Belgrade area)
Weekly training including:
3 hours of regular classes (must include technique such as ballet or jazz)
1-hour rehearsal with their company coach
Learn and perform 1–2 routines (based on team size)
Chance to participate in local performances, including community events like parades
A supportive introduction to the competitive dance experience
Home Team dancers will train, rehearse, and grow together while getting a true taste of what BDA Company is all about—just at a more flexible level.
Audition & Placement:
All dancers attend Company auditions.
Dancers simply indicate interest in “Home Team” on their audition form.
Coaches may recommend placement for dancers best suited to the home team.
Program will move forward with a minimum of 6 dancers
