What is Spring Recital?
BDA’s Spring Recital is a special opportunity for each class to take the stage, showcase their progress, and share their creativity in a joyful celebration of dance. From first steps to final bows, it’s a moment to shine!

All classes will participate in the Spring recital.
Classes will have a dress rehearsal on one of the following days, Wednesday May 28 OR Thursday May 29. Tuesday May 27, Tech Rehearsal for Intermediate and Advanced Classes.
Call times for Dress Rehearsal will be communicated via email and found on this page. If dancers are in multiple classes they may have rehearsal on more than one day.

Dress rehearsal call times are available below. If you have questions or cannot find your classes time please ask your dancers teacher.
Tech Rehearsal: Tuesday, May 26 (intermediate/advanced dancers in both shows + company dancers)
Tuesday Tech Rehearsal Schedule
All classes: 45-minute rehearsal window on Wednesday, May 27 or Thursday, May 28 between 4:00–8:30 PM
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to call time, dressed in costume, stage ready (Please review the recital details page for makeup and hair details).
Dancers will sit in the theater seats with their class. family is welcome to watch rehearsal and video/take photos form the audience.

Important Show Rules
Dancers will NOT be dismissed during the show (including intermission)
Dancers are released after the final curtain only
Each class has a backstage volunteer
Please plan to stay for the entire performance
Treat this like a full theater experience—your dancer is part of the whole show!

We are looking for volunteers to help backstage, usher, and run concessions. If interested you can sign up through your studio pro account. Please sign up to volunteer by Monday April 20.

Costumes will go home the last week of April/first week of May.
Dancers will receive all costume details from their teacher, including the correct color of tights, shoes and any other costume requirements.

Recital Photos – May 4–7
Origin Imagery will be at BDA Studio the week of May 4–7 to photograph each class in their recital costumes. Both class group photos and individual portraits will be taken and available for purchase. Origin Imagery will contact families directly via email with pricing and ordering details.
